ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Delta flight made an emergency landing in Atlanta on Saturday due to a “smoky odor,” the airline said. Delta Flight 1264 from Chicago to Atlanta declared an emergency before it touched down at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport just before 8 a.m.The plane was greeted by fire trucks on the tarmac before it taxied to the gate on its own. The plane, a Boeing 737-900, carried six crew members and 130 passengers. No injuries were reported. Delta did not say what caused the smoky smell. This is a developing story.
